Introducing Grace Church U: A Bible Foundations Program for High School Students

We’re excited to launch a new opportunity for high school students at Grace Church — Grace Church U!

What is Grace Church U?

Grace Church U is a discipleship course designed for students in Grades 9–12 who want to grow deeper in their understanding of the Bible and build community with others who are on the same journey. This class is built around conversation and a commitment to learning God's Word.

 

What Will Students Do?

Each student will go through the Foundations video series created right here at Grace Church. These short, insightful teachings will help students explore the core truths of the Christian faith.

  • Each year, students will watch six (five their first year) of these videos — three per semester.

  • After each video, students will write a three-page reflection paper on what they’ve learned.

  • After each paper, the group will meet to discuss their work and learn from each other.

  • Students will then compile all three papers into a final semester paper, which will be reviewed by the Student Ministries Pastor.

  • If the paper meets the expected standard, the student will pass that semester.

 

What’s the Reward?

Students who complete the full years course (a total of 6 videos and 6 papers each year) and meet the grading standard will receive a $250 college scholarship that will be applied to them upon graduation.

 

Course Outline by Year:

  • Year 1: Foundations 1–5

  • Year 2: Foundations 6–11

  • Year 3: Foundations 12–17

  • Year 4: Foundations 18–23
