What are Life Groups?

Life Groups are a space for students to connect, feel known, and grow together in their relationship with Jesus. With the leadership of at least two caring adult leaders, Life Groups consist of gender specific small groups of High School students who meet outside of our Youth group times at various times and locations during the week.

Why should my teenager be in a Life Group?

We want every student to have the opportunity to grow in their faith, and we know that the best avenue for this is through intentional discipleship! While youth group is one of those avenues, we also recognize that discipleship happens most effectively in a smaller group where students get to know their peers and leaders and build trust with those in the group. Life Groups are the best opportunity for intentional discipleship.

When do groups meet?

We have groups that meet at all sorts of different times and locations. There should be no problem finding a group that will fit with your busy schedule!

How do I get my teenager in a group?

Because of the various times and locations groups meet at, the best way to discover the right group for your student is to email the Student Ministry Pastor, Nate, at nhellum@gcsahuarita.org.
